Phase Six

Phase Six

EN

Born as the children of the Wayfarers, the dragons are arguably Tirakan's most powerful independent beings. The Wayfarers came into the world at a time when the Gods were not even aware of their origin, and observed events without intervening in the battles of the past. At the end of the first age, the Wayfarers begat seven children to watch over the battles of the Titans and the Demons. These children were henceforth called dragons. According to the legends, four of these seven children still live on Tirakan today, although only a few unconfirmed reports tell of them.

"There is nothing more impressive in this world than a dragon. They are the oldest mortal creatures on Tirakan, and accordingly they are majestic. There is no mortal creature in all of Tirakan that inspires more awe than a dragon, I tell you! Even I still get a shiver of pure awe when I see Thzarliometh! And even more so when I swing myself onto his back and rise into the air with him! It is a feeling of pure happiness mixed with a good dose of awe and pride. It is no wonder, then, that I call dragons the noblest and proudest creatures of Tirakan..." ~ the half-elf Leana, one of the legendary dragon riders.

The kites have a length of 1.50 threads at birth and reach a length of about 80 threads. The body of a dragon is divided into three parts, the head and neck (25% of the total length), the torso (30% of the total length) and the tail (45% of the total length). The dragon's disposition is between 100 and 0, depending on the character.

Degeneration

All children that the dragons should beget do not have the same strength and power as their parents. It even happens that the children who were further away from the original dragons were always closer to worldly animals. While the following generation of dragons still consisted of stately imperial dragons, at the end of the line there are creatures that resemble lizards more than dragons. Similarly, the life span of the children is shorter than that of the parents, although there are many more of them. Thus it follows that the seven original dragons are the only real dragons, and still live in the world today. They are the only immortal people.

The creation

When the Wayfarers created the dragons, they were never to be allowed to produce a lower race of their own. Despite the prohibition, a lower race was born, equal to the dragons only in their senses and longevity. Four children were born, who were henceforth called Elves by the dragons.

Tedasiél
Tedasiél

Tesasiél got into a dispute with Irminar during the time of the servant creatures, and was killed by him. The legends tell that his death had to do with the rebellion of the Dragons against the travelers.

Tar - The brave
Tar - The brave

Tar the Brave was the first child of the Wayfarers, and is thus the eldest of the seven siblings. Tar, who is also the most powerful of the Dragons, stays mainly in the northern mountains until the present time. Revered as a demigod by the elven peoples, he takes the place of the highest god among the Atiarel. A river is also named after the dragon Tar, which runs from the Atiarel mountains through the plains of Meridian to the Sea of Rocks.

Samusa - The Mother
Samusa - The Mother

The eldest daughter of Hagarun is the mother of the Elves. When the Dragons betrayed her parents, it was she who gave birth to the Elves. Since then, among others, in the Iana Alyaria, Samusa's hoard is mentioned when talking about the rite.

Aspersia - The Fallen
Aspersia - The Fallen

During the battle at the Maw, Aspersia was dragged down with the demons. Her fate is unknown. However, according to legends, Aspersia tried her hand at creating her own race. However, due to the tragic circumstances and the demonic environment, a terrible mistake must have occurred in the process. So Aspersia created two races in her image. One in humanoid form (see Lizards), the other in her form. These were called Sethlarn from then on.
